I know many of you are beginning to get the hang of using coupons and sales. One would think it sounds like such a simple thing to do, but it's not. It takes time and practice to understand how to use these little golden tickets effectively and efficiently.
Here is her Kroger shopping/couponing trip where she only spent $40.75 oop for over $157 worth of groceries, I am so super proud of her!
Here is what she said about this trip:
"This is $157.70 of groceries (food and non-food) that I paid $40.75 for! I almost cried in the check-out lane! This picture doesn't do it justice. I came home with 15 large, full grocery bags! Amen! Thank you, Jesus!"
I then asked her if she was now addicted to this new way of saving, and here is her response:
". . .yes, it is addicting! i felt like i was at the casino- only in reverse. I kept putting away more money in my purse as they rang up my order. It was amazing."I want to encourage each of you that you can do this very same thing. I am constantly posting on here where you can find the best store deals and how you can save. I will continue to encourage you to follow along on Facebook or Twitter. But, as I have suggested before just take an hour or so every night to go through and see what great deals there are to be had. Just by putting in an hour or two each day/evening, you will be able keep hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars in your own pockets. Just like Michelle was able to do at Kroger this week!
If you would like to brag about one of your shopping trips in the Reader's Bragging Spot. Just send me a photo, with all the wonderful details of where you shopped how much you spent and how much you saved. This is how we can learn from one another.
