Saturday's With Stew: Dishonest Money. . .The Little Things

Here's a fun new feature - well, I'm excited about it. My husband, Stew, each Saturday will be sharing with us, his take on living a "Centsable Stewardship" kind of life. Here's the first edition, I hope you enjoy. It is short but meaningful!

Proverbs 13: 11
11 Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

So often we take for granted the small amounts of monies that pass into and out of our budgets.  We give little thought to lattes and lunches or snacks and suppers and usually think about the big things like rent or car payments.  Proverbs encourages us to think about the little amounts and the impact they may have on our budgets.

In this case think about the money that you save each time you go to the store.  Taking your savings or a portion of it and putting it in a savings account is a great way to gather that money little by little.  Each dollar counts so be centsable.
