Quick Shopping Trip: Aldi

I ran out to Aldi today and bought all of the following produce items:

• 6lbs of Gala Apples
• 5lbs of Bananas
• 1lb Baby Carrots
• 1 Stalk of Celery (24ct)
• 3lbs Navel Oranges

I spent a total of $11.31 oop, and after doing some price comparison, had I bought these exact same items at Publix this week I would have spent almost $18.00 (and those are sale prices at Publix). Not that I am knocking Publix, because we all know I am a Publix girl. But their meat and produce sales are not always that impressive, and I tend to get better deals elsewhere. And 9 times out of 10 I purchase my produce at Aldi.
